Dear Taner: Theo and I want
to thank you for the great day at Gallipoli
and Troy last month while we were in Istanbul. Your knowledge of the
battle site was very helpful, even to two historians, and our pictures of
the area show the importance of geography to war. We also liked the brief
excursion to Troy and the ferry across the Dardanelles to get there. It
was a long day but a pleasant one. If you give me a postal address, I'll
